Dr. Lam Hoang graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
He worked as an electrical engineer for several years before changing careers to pursue dentistry, a path he had originally begun before leaving Vietnam.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 2001, graduating as valedictorian.
He then completed a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, finishing in 2003.
He has a special interest in the relationship between obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), airway development, and conditions such as ADD/ADHD in children. His treatment philosophy emphasizes long-term health in addition to creating an attractive smile.
He is married with two grown children who are also in the dental/medical field and enjoys composing, arranging, and recording music in his spare time.
