Dr. Maria Gutierrez

Dr. Gutierrez was born and raised in Venezuela by Cuban parents. At the age of 20, she immigrated to the United States to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. She learned English, completed her college education, and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, New Jersey. Although the journey required years of hard work and determination, she would do it all over again because of her passion for dentistry.

Dr. Gutierrez is committed to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through high-quality restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She relocated to San Antonio, Texas, in early 2024 and has enjoyed serving the community by helping patients improve their oral health and smile with confidence.

Outside the office, Dr. Gutierrez enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and experiencing local cuisine. She especially values spending weekends with her family and creating lasting memories together.

Dr. Gutierrez has also been involved in community service through volunteer work with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, fundraising initiatives, Smiles for Vets and Give Kids A Smile Day.
